Due to popular demand, our accredited Loaf Academies are back for another year of preparing individuals with learning difficulties or autism for a career in the world of catering.
As well as promising a fun and positive experience for all, the course will train students in essential areas, such as sandwich preparation, customer service, food safety and tea and coffee service.
Upon successful completion, participants will graduate with awards in OCN Level 1 in Vocational Skills and a Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification.
Loaf Academies begin on the following dates:
Tuesday 26 January – Ards & North Down
Monday 1 February – Fermanagh
Wednesday 3 February – Omagh
Mid & East Antrim – currently running on Fridays
Each course will run for a total of 12 weeks and will be delivered through blended learning – a mixture of both socially distanced, face-to-face learning and online sessions.
While no course fees apply, places are limited and have filled up fast in previous years.

Another former Oklahoma State wrestler is heading to North Carolina as Jamill Kelly will be joining the Tar Heels' coaching staff as an assistant coach Dee Beckwith Jersey.
