Monday to Sunday Evenings and weekends / Salary £22,000 per annum
Main Function: We are looking for a very special person with an eye for detail who will love Loaf Pottery as much as we do and help us build it into a “must visit” destination with a thriving arts business. The Pottery Production Manager will support the business as we scale up our amazing range of pottery products sold across the world. This role is vital from coordinating sales, planning production to have the perfect Loaf Pottery end product.
1.Ability to be flexible and adaptable as hours of work will include evenings and weekends as appropriate.
2.Two years experience of working in a production role.
3.Previous experience of managing/supervising a team.
4.The candidate will be required to demonstrate experience in the following areas:
• project management skills
• organisation and efficiency
• leadership and interpersonal skills
• problem solving skills
• IT and numerical skills
• communication skills
• teamworking skills
Ability to be flexible and adaptable as hours of work will include evenings and weekends as appropriate.
Ability to supervise staff and work under pressure.
At least 2 years paid experience managing in a hospitality / food production.
Experience of managing GP targets against a budget.
Cooking / baking experience.
We're a social enterprise based in Belfast but working across Northern Ireland to support people with learning difficulties and autism into jobs with a future. Loaf Catering is our catering business which delivers outside catering to businesses, functions etc. We run six cafes four are in Belfast - The Bobbin in City Hall, Loaf on Grosvenor Road and the cafes at Ulster Museum and the Folk at Transport Museum at Cultra.
We also have a cafe at the Ulster American Folk Park in Omagh. Loaf Pottery our sixth site is our pottery, pizzeria and coffee shop in Crawfordsburn where we offer wood fired pizzas and our range of beautiful handthrown pottery.
For every £1 invested in NOW Group 2019/20 we generated £20 in social value.
